Brian, known by his close friends and associates as Smitty or Smitdog, grew up in Southeast Arkansas as an avid outdoorsman chasing ducks and deer any and everywhere he could. He began turkey hunting in 2000 and has grown to love it. Brian’s passion is chasing the wild turkey followed by bow hunting the whitetail deer in a close second place and then duck hunting. His love for buying and selling farms and recreational properties for himself has fueled his passion to do it for others. Randy Swope is an agent with Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland in Blue Springs, Missouri. Randy attended Central Missouri State University where he was a member of the brotherhood of Delta Chi Fraternity and he is a life-long resident of NW Missouri. Rayburn Hare became the President of Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland in December 0f 2010. In addition to this job he is the managing broker for the corporate office in Blue Springs, MO. He is responsible for the overall direction of the brand development side of the company as well as managing MOPH's real estate brokerage affairs from the corporate office and growing this side of the business. He is licensed in Missouri and Kansas and also has taught real estate in both states for over 20 years. Rayburn brings over 25 years of broker experience with him. He came over from Keller Williams Realty where he managed over 100 agents and grew the Keller Williams brand and presence in the KC market. He understands the power of the a brand and how to grow one.
Rayburn's duties include brokering the corporate office and managing its agents and growing the Mossy Oak Properties brand development in OK, KS,MO and IA by developing relationships with potential office partners and opening new offices.
Rayburn was born in NC and grew up living the outdoor lifestyle which has spilled over into his adult life and now his career. His two boys Chris (25) and Corbin(16) have been passed on the great heritage of huning with their Dad and enjoying time together in the outdoors chasing whitetail, turkey and waterfowl during the season. They are excited about their dads new career direction as he is and cannot wait to be a part of the growing Mossy Oak Properties brand.
We met by happen stance through Daryl Trailer, founder of Hunting Sports Plus. I began looking at the possiblity of opening an office in the Hunting Sports Plus building and needing a broker to run the office and Daryl suggested Rayburn as an option. I spoke with Rayburn by phone and we immediately felt a connection and the the Lord had directed our paths. After finding out how qualified he was to lead our company I offered him the position of President of MOPH. We were very fortunate he accepted my offer. Michael Grassley became a member of Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland in March of 2011. Michael grew up in northwest Missouri hunting whitetails, turkeys, waterfowl, and upland birds in his home state. From those beginnings, Michael has expanded his travels hunting whitetails throughout Kansas and Iowa as well as antelope, mule deer, and elk in several western states. Michael graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 1995 with a BS in Agriculture Business emphasizing forestry and wildlife management in his studies. In 2008, Michael began operating a wildlife management service assisting landowners in developing their properties to enhance the recreational value. Michael has the experience and the knowledge to assist you with locating the right property for your outdoor dreams. He can also help with developing a QDMA program, restoring quail/pheasant habitat, or constructing ponds/wetlands, or managing timber on your property. Don was born on a family farm in Carroll County, Mo. He moved away when he was 20 years old to enlist in the Navy.He served our great country from 1953-57 then pursued an Engineering career with Honeywell. He worked at Honeywell for 30 years then retired to a 160 acre of his own in Livingston County. He sold this farm along with a farm he owned with his brother to move closer to the Kansas City area.
Don grew up with a love, passion and respect for the outdoors with upland bird hunting still his favorite today. He spends countless hours in the field with friends quail hunting and when he is not there you can find him working part time for Hunting Sports Plus selling memberships. He has been on the Hunting Sports Plus staff since 2007. He enjoys playing Golf whenever he can.
Don obtained his Missouri Real Estate license and is now working for Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland selling recreational and farm property. Don truly understands land and how to identify properties according to the clients needs.
